Really it's like a business paln that most corporations work under. Here is an example for you to see! Dream No 2 Jim is a 35 year old man who grew up in a city in Manitoba. He graduated from high school and enrolled in a college course in marketing . Upon completion Jim soon realized that he possessed a knack for sales and started a career in the life insurance business. Within two years, he became very successful and earned a 6 figure income. Next, Jim moved more into investment sales and his success grew even more. He made more money than most would ever dream of, and had all the trappings of success. Big house, fancy cars, luxurious office ,foreign travel and the option to play golf whenever he wanted. However for Jim this was not a recipe for happiness. Growing up in a family with martial problems, Jim wanted to create a family of his own that would be much different that he had known. However, Jim was not married and seemed to have trouble meeting " Miss Right". He was beginning to wonder if his inner most dream of having a family would ever materialize. Jim was not in great physical shape, as a result of his hectic work life and poor dietary habits . He was overweight by about 50 pounds, which didn't add up to a very attractive image. Also he spent much of his time at work, and when he had some spare time he was out golfing with his buddies. So Jim didn't give himself much opportunity to meet a great girl. His self-image was less than normal, and most girls wouldn't allow him the opportunity to show what a nice guy he was. So Jim came to his senses, sat down and produced his plan. He knew his most important dream was a happy family, so he began to move in the direction that would allow himself the opportunity to work towards this. First he went to see a dietician who set him up on a plan to lose weight and reestablish his proper body shape. This involved ongoing weekly visits, and recording of his food intake and a shift towards better foods such as whole wheat bread , 1% milk, fruit and vegetables. Next he went to a gym near his office and began an exercise program that would meet his needs. This involved aerobic and strength training. By exercising 5 times per week he began to feel on top of the world.. The sessions at the gym became his favorite activity of the week. He lost weight rapidly, and his image was excellent. A trip to the men's clothing store further revamped Jim's self-image to one of success. He was transformed to a different person. One day at the gym he met Lisa, who was a very attractive professional woman, and they began dating . Six months later Jim proposed marriage, and now they are expecting their first child. Jim had reached his dream. His life transformed in a dramatic way. Next time we will talk about exercise in an aerobic way.
